On the occasion of Tsinghua University’s 108th anniversary, University of Washington Provost Mark Richards made a visit to discuss further expanding and deepening future cooperation between the two universities. He met with Chen Xu, Chairperson of Tsinghua University Council, as well as Tsinghua University Vice President and Provost Yang Bin. Among the topics they discussed were the progress of the Global Innovation Exchange which was founded by the University of Washington and Tsinghua University, with foundational support from Microsoft, and launched in Bellevue in September 2017.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on further defining the future development direction of GIX and continuing to promote cooperation between Tsinghua University and the University of Washington. Read the full story from the Tsinghua University news site here.
