MSTI Alumni Reunion Weekend

You’re invited to join GIX leaders, MSTI faculty, and fellow alumni of the UW Master of Science in Technology Innovation program for the inaugural MSTI Alumni Reunion Weekend! Graduates of all MSTI cohorts are invited to attend, reconnect with one another, and learn what’s new since you graduated. We’ll also recognize Cohort 1, who is celebrating five years since graduation!

We hope you can join us for all three weekend activities – especially the culminating event of the weekend, the Reunion Celebration Dinner! You are welcome to bring a guest/plus-one to all events.

Event Schedule:

Friday, October 13

4:00 – 6:00 PM Welcome Happy Hour
Join us as we kickoff the weekend with beer, appetizers, and socializing at Bellevue Brewing Company (located just one block from GIX!).
This event is complimentary, but an RSVP is required. Light refreshments will be provided.
We recommend parking in the Tract K Parking Garage or along the street.

Saturday, October 14

12:00 – 2:00 PM GIX Open House, Prototyping Labs Activities + Lunch
GIX (aka the Steve Ballmer Building) is opening its doors for an open house. Join fellow alumni in your old stomping grounds for hands-on activities and demos in the Prototyping Lab. Meet current students and learn about their latest projects.

This event is complimentary, but an RSVP is required. A casual lunch will be provided.
Parking is available for complimentary validation in the GIX parking garage.

6:00 – 9:00 PM Reunion Celebration Dinner at Daniel’s Broiler Bellevue
The main event of the weekend! The Reunion Celebration Dinner includes a delicious 4-course meal prepared by premier PNW restaurant Daniel’s Broiler, a cocktail hour, remarks from GIX Executive Director & CEO Sean Carr, the presentation of the MSTI Alumni Impact Award, and more.
Tickets are just $45 per person. Cocktail attire is encouraged. Complimentary parking is included.

GIX is pleased to announce the launch of the MSTI Alumni Impact Award. Each year, a different cohort will be invited to nominate one of their peers who they believe embodies the spirit of the MSTI by making an impact in the world – or in their own community – through work in technology innovation. The award recipient will be honored at the all-alumni Reunion Celebration Dinner on Oct. 14. This year, a member of cohort 1 will be honored with the first MSTI Alumni Impact Award! Nominate a cohort 1 graduate for the Alumni Impact Award.
