Sam Cole
Bachelor's degree: Computer Engineering
I am a software developer with a passion for robotics and entrepreneurship. I studied Computer Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and have both research and internship experience in robotics. I have worked on an MLOps startup in the past and am now working on an AI health tech startup alongside my coursework. I love solving complex problems that arise in tech startups and enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams who approach problems in a holistic way.

Ghea Chrestella Suyono
Bachelor's Degree: Banking and Finance
I’m a product management enthusiast with 7 years of fintech expertise in major unicorns in Southeast Asia. I pursued my Banking and Finance undergraduate degree in Singapore before moving back to Jakarta.
Surprisingly, my journey led me to consider working for an NGO. After studying for 2 quarters, I began exploring my passion for health tech. Currently, I am exploring opportunities to join an NGO focusing on health tech.

Fenglyu (Felicity) Liu
Bachelor's Degree: Architecture Design
I'm a dedicated User Experience Researcher with an academic background and practical experience. Originally from China, I pursued my undergraduate studies in Architecture Design at Tsinghua University, and am enrolled in the Dual Degree Program with Tsinghua in Data Science and Information Technology.
My career goal is to leverage my skills in user research, data analysis, and design to create impactful and user-centered products. I have interned as a UX Researcher at TikTok and Gaotu Techedu Inc., where I conducted comprehensive interviews, statistical analyses, and usability studies to inform product strategies and design improvements.
Lakshita Singh
Bachelor's Degree: Math and Computer Engineering
I come from Delhi, India, where I completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Computing Engineering. Previously, I worked as a Google Research Intern in MLOps, where I contributed to developing a testing pipeline for a self-driving car project. My career goal is to leverage my engineering background and expertise in robotics innovation. I am passionate about developing technologies for healthcare and for people in need.
I am currently engaged in research at the Personal Robotics Lab, focusing on the development of an assistive dexterous feeding arm for individuals with upper limb disabilities. I am also the first author of the paper "Synergizing Reinforcement Learning for Cognitive Medical Decision-Making," published in Springer.

Hazel Chen
Bachelor's Degree: Information Management
I am passionate about connecting people — whether to each other, their environment, or meaningful information.
I earned my undergraduate degree from National Taiwan University and spent two years as a product manager at a social networking platform, driving business growth while enhancing user experiences. I enjoy blending technology, human-centered design, and business to create impactful solutions, and I love collaborating across teams to bring these ideas to life.
When I'm not working or studying, you’ll find me at climbing gyms, theaters, or exploring new destinations.

Shareef Jasim
Bachelor's Degree: Architecture
With a background in Architecture and a career as a Computational Designer and Software Developer in the AEC industry, I’m passionate about exploring innovative ideas and solutions that intersect design, engineering, technology, and business.
I have spent the last four years working as a Computational Designer and Software Developer, supporting clients in both the design and construction industries.
Outside of work, I enjoy paragliding, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

I’m a product designer passionate about leveraging design and technology to create intuitive, value-driven product experiences that spark the ‘aha’ moment users deserve. With a background in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design and experience in the health-tech industry prior to joining MSTI, I aspire to bridge the gap between healthcare and technology to make life easier for everyone, especially in the AI era. I look forward to gaining practical experience in product management, engineering, and business to broaden my impact.

Anshul Prakash
I grew up in Mumbai, India, until I was 13 years old, and then moved to the United States in the 8th grade and Seattle in 2017. I did my bachelor's in Computer Engineering from Washington State University where I was an active member of the BattleBots club.
I also have had two internships as a software engineer. The first internship focused on web app development, and the second focused on embedded system development. I am pursuing a career in Automation in the Robotics field and enrolled in MSTI with a focus on robotics.
In my free time, I can be found playing basketball indoors or outdoors -depending on the weather, or enjoying the beautiful scenery in Washington on a hike. My favorite hikes so far are Snow Lake and Mailbox Peak.
