Jay Howard
LecturerJay Howard is a Senior Affiliate Instructor in the Department of Communications at the University of Washington. He is also an entrepreneur with a unique blend of analytical and artistic thinking, known for driving high-profile branding, storytelling, and learning projects for both mid-size and Fortune 500 companies including Google, Apple, Intel, HP, Microsoft, SAP/Concur, Pocket Gems, T-Mobile, and Starbucks.
As an experienced professional, Jay believes that companies need to put maximum creativity, care, thought, and intention into all communications they share with the world. Jay helps them to push as hard as possible. He has produced simple, iconic work for Apple's "Think Different" ad campaign and its founder now in the permanent collection at MoMA. He was also a Fulbright Scholar in Visual Culture, received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA from the Annenberg School for Communications at the University of Southern California and is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program (SEP) at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
