Allie Carpenter

With over a decade of higher education experience, Allie has brought together advising, student development, leadership education, and program innovation to create transformative experiences for students and colleagues alike.

Most recently, Allie has worked within the University of Washington College of Engineering supporting first-year students as they explore academic interests, build community, and navigate the transition into engineering majors. Her work has included creating student leadership programs, developing curriculum, and training experiences, supervising peer educators, staff, and collaborating across departments to strengthen the student experience.

Allie brings a strategic and creative approach to problem-solving, and enthusiasm for building meaningful connections with new colleagues and students. She is excited to learn from this community and contribute her experience, energy, and perspective to the important work ahead. On the weekends, you’ll find Allie hiking, skiing, camping, and gardening with her family.
