Doug is a part-time lecturer where he teaches and mentors in the Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) and MSTI program, with a focus on hardware software system engineering. His career focus includes team building, mentorship, multidisciplinary product delivery, partner co‑development, and innovations that bridge hardware, software, and user experience. In addition to his professional work, Doug is deeply engaged in community governance and regulatory advocacy, serving as an owner‑elected director and representing homeowners before the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission in water tariff cases. Doug holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and has previously taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
