T. Jordan Fricks

Jordan is a part-time lecturer at the Global Innovation Exchange, where he teaches corporate and intellectual property law in the MSTI program. He is a practicing technology lawyer whose work spans product counseling, IP licensing, AI governance, and commercial contracting for consumer technology platforms. In his current role as Senior Corporate Counsel at Match Group, he serves as Hinge’s primary legal advisor across product launches, platform governance, and technology vendor agreements. He previously practiced at Perkins Coie LLP, where he represented major entertainment, media, and technology clients in complex IP licensing and technology transactions, including deals for AAA video game titles and cross-media franchises, and served on secondment with Meta Reality Labs as product counsel for Horizon Worlds.

Before law school, Jordan spent a year teaching English at a junior and senior high school in Tokyo, an experience that shaped his interest in how law and technology operate across different systems and cultures. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Michigan.
