Mason Yu

Prior to assuming his role as the Director (Finance & Operations) and Chief of Staff at GIX, Mason was as a foreign service officer at the U.S. Department of State for 21 years. During this time, he worked as a diplomat in Singapore, Shanghai, Chengdu, Dharan, and twice in Taiwan. In his final assignment at the U.S. Department of State, he served as a Principal Officer in charge of the U.S. Mission in southern Taiwan. Mason hails from Bellevue, Washington and is a graduate of the University of Washington and the U.S. Marine Corps University Command and Staff College.
