Problem

According to a 2016 study at Hunan Normal University, the rate of bullying amongst Chinese boys was found to be 5% higher than among American boys. Researchers attributed this difference to the percieved lack of education on bullying behavior within the Chinese education system.

Approach

The team developed a user flow before stating development to guide their design decisions.

Solution

The team created a Role Playing Game (RPG) that uses VR to facilitate discussions among teenagers on sensitive topics in an immersive setting. Specifically designed for the Chinese school system, the solution uses China-manufactured Pico 4 VR headsets and is developed using the Unity software.
